I Dream – I Live

Stella Adler said “to grow” is a person’s “deepest and truest need” when they say they want to be an actor. She said that “only an art form is able to stretch a human being so he can measure up to his potential to grow and grow and understand himself and his life until the end.” That is my life goal — to grow, always. If I was to state simply that I am an actor or a writer, it would not be accurate. I prefer to think of myself as a student of the human condition through the arts. Screenwriter and director Susannah Grant said, “Writing is a way to cheat the rule that says you have only one life to live.” The creative arts and imagination are a way to explore the feelings of other people and empathize, learn and grow by seeing through another’s eyes.
